What is Komfort Latch?
Komfort Latch is a seat belt comfort device that removes seat belt irritation and gives the driver a greater range of movement.

How Does it Work?

1. Adjust the seat to its proper driving position.
2. Latch your seat belt.
3. If available, adjust the seat belt height adjuster to a comfortable driving position.
4. Pull approximately one inch of webbing from your chest. (This is equivalent to placing two fingers between the chest and belt while leaning back in the seat.)
5. Lift the Komfort Latch lever to lock the webbing.
   

Be sure that you don’t introduce more than an inch of slack when using the Komfort Latch. Using the seat belt with too much slack can reduce its effectiveness during a crash.

Disengaging the Komfort Latch
Always disengage the Komfort Latch when removing the seat belt, to allow the seat belt to fully retract.

To disengage the Komfort Latch, tug on the shoulder belt or pull down the Komfort Latch lever.
