While designing individual products for OEMs, LifeGuard engineers can quantify performance and comfort through ride testing and application analysis.  Seat belt systems are tested to meet and surpass regulatory requirements, enabling the company to deliver dependable, high quality safety systems to its off-highway vehicle customers.

At the company’s Center for Advanced Product Evaluation (CAPE) facility, research and development engineers prove the performance of component products and systems through the use of crash testing, rollover testing, environmental testing and computer simulations. 

Occupant restraints are tested to meet most international standards, including FMVSS 209, FMVSS 302, SAE J386, ISO 6683 and SAE J2292.  CAPE also conducts testing that enables customers to meet a wide variety of test objectives outside of those relating to restraint performance.
